CRPMU was created because protecting children requires more than statements of concern.

It requires action.

WHO WE ARE

Childhood Rights Protection Mission Uganda (CRPMU) is a Ugandan non-profit organization dedicated to the protection, promotion and advancement of children's rights and wellbeing.

We bring together child protection, rights awareness, education, health and wellbeing, legal and social support, advocacy, humanitarian action, empowerment and community engagement to address challenges affecting children.

Our work is grounded in the belief that child protection is a shared responsibility.

• Institutions matter.

• Government matters.

• Children themselves matter.

We therefore seek to build stronger connections between children, communities, services and institutions so that protection does not remain an idea—it becomes something experienced in everyday life.

OUR PRINCIPLE

NO CHILD SHOULD HAVE TO FACE A PROTECTION CHALLENGE ALONE.

When a child faces abuse, exclusion, exploitation, neglect or another threat to their wellbeing, the response should not depend solely on where that child was born, their family's income or their social circumstances.

CRPMU works toward a society where children can be identified, listened to, protected, supported and connected to appropriate help.

OUR VISION

Our work primarily focuses on children aged seventeen years and below, particularly those experiencing vulnerability, exclusion or circumstances that threaten their rights and wellbeing.

But our work does not stop with the child.

We work with the ecosystem around the child.

Because a protected child needs a protective environment.
